*mooooo*The Lowdown on Bovine Poetry

That's right, cows write poetry too. Albeit, not nearly as advanced or boring as much of what human poetry has to offer, bovine poetry still shows the cow mind to be far more advanced than the average dairy user might suspect.

The dedicated and responsible researchers in the field of bovine poetry are few, but they're closely spaced. Frequently, equine and human works are incorrectly credited as bovine works, and valid bovine poems are dismissed as mere babble. This site contains some of the bovine verse I have been able to uncover in my recent field work. Much of the best bovine poetry follows the human lead of haiku (although most researchers call these works "bovine based haiku like verse", the actual authors prefer the less scholarly term "mooku"). I have chosen to showcase several exemplary pieces of mooku.

I'm afraid between e-mail account changes, bad book keeping, new computers, and sheer laziness, I've lost any number of user contributions - sorry! So I've gotten a guest book where you can add any mooku's and cow poetry you've found yourself. Be warned, I will occasionally remove the off topic stuff.
